Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my bio. To start, my background is a bit more diverse than many loan officers you may encounter; I had a 17-year career in management with JCPenneys (before the Internet) where I really got my first taste of business. Since entering the mortgage industry, I have remained connected to JCPenney by serving as President of the JCPenneys Alumni Club in Southern California–which is the largest chapter of the JCPenneys Alumni Club and I enjoy the community and networking opportunities offered by the club involvement.
After the birth of our first child in 1989, my family moved to Carlsbad, California, where I gained valuable experience in consumer financing. I served as Fleet Manager for a number of auto dealerships.
In 2003, I had the opportunity to learn the mortgage industry. I soon realized this is where I could fulfill my passion of helping people by teaching and advising what consumers need to know when planning their greatest investment–a home. That desire to help consumers truly fueled my success. In my time in the mortgage industry, I have seen and heard incredible stories of people’s experiences buying and refinancing homes. Thinking back to my first purchase in 1980, I will never forget the confusion and frustration I personally went through, and promised myself to help each of my clients go through this process armed with the knowledge and experience I have gained.
A few people have told me I am too thorough, but that is the reason I’m a Senior Loan Officer. I believe everyone should be well-informed when making decisions regarding the purchase or refinance of a home. To that end, I have established myself with first-time buyers, government employees, and investors, often assisting with some of the more complicated transactions which other loan officers may prefer not to take on. I help clients throughout California with the borrowing needs, and soon will be active in Arizona. Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime if I can help or answer any of your questions.
